  Journal of Orthopaedics Surgeries and Physiotherapy - (JOSP)| Stephy Publishers Abstract: Reconstruction of injuries and defects in the distal third of the lower extremities represents a challenge for the plastic surgeon. The clinical case of a 46-year-old patient with a sequela of electrical burn in the distal third of the leg and the proximal third of the right foot is presented, who underwent skin coverage with a reverse flow sural flap. The treatment performed is described, as well as the surgical technique . We consider that the reverse flow sural flap is an optimal option when evaluating different forms of coverage in lesions of the distal third of the lower extremities, with positive long-term results.   Journal of Environmental Science and Research  | Stephy Publishers Abstract: The entire surface of the earth is visited by the birds in view of their aerial flights and variable habitats in search of suitable breeding and feeding grounds. Flight, intelligence, adaptability and sight are some of the attributes that add to the diversity in the life of birds, consequently there is complexity in their overall behavioral pattern. The key objective of this study was to assess the weaver-bird crop-raiding activity in Buea municipality on different environmental parameters. The study was undertaken for three months, six days in a week, from 7:00am to 6:00pm. Scan observations were made on birds’ activity on a five-minute interval period across the entire study area. Simultaneously, data was collected on the environmental conditions. Journal of Pediatrics and Clinical Neonatology - (JPCN) Maternal and Neonatal Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura Immune thromb ocytopenic (ITP) is an autoimmune disease that affects 9.5/100,000 adults in the population.1 It is characterized by autoimmune destruction of platelets leading to potentially life-threatening thrombocytopenia. About 7% of pregnant mothers are affected by thrombocytopenia with 1 to 10 per 10,000 mothers being affected with ITP. Studies have shown that ITP is generally a benign condition in the birthing mother and rarely has a long-lasting effect on the newborn child.2 In the rare event that the newborn is severely affected, treatment is required.
